Achieved successful multi-million dollar negotiations with the Arizona State Land Department for a 90 year lease hold, capital and tax agreement effecting the Phoenix plant site. Note, first such agreement in Arizona history.

1992 – 2000: Senior Vice President. American Industrial Partners, RBX Corporation (venture capital company that held and managed eight East Coast and Mid-West manufacturing plants), Roanoke, VA.

Primary focus included all HR and General Affairs functions across portfolio of companies

Including successful labor contract negotiations, employee, vendor or customer legal issues

Negotiated and managed successful sale of numerous manufacturing facilities with no significant employee,safety or environmental issues

1985 – 1992: Director Human Resources and Labor Relations, Imperial Chemical Inc (ICI) London, UK and ICI Americas, Wilmington, DE.

Reported to US Senior VP of Human Resources.

Primary focus was all aspects of labor relations with domestic and two UK plants. Oversaw and as company spokesman, successfully negotiated contracts with 48 labor unions at 62 plants with no work stoppages or significant events. Built a solid labor relationship.

Management Trustee to the United Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Pension Plan. The plan achieved and maintained excellent performance.
