Knorr Bremse Signaling did not previously have a “Signaling” group in their portfolio so we are taking the processes we used and streamlining them to make them more efficient. Removing redundancy and simplifying process to allow for projects needs directed by the customers, project managers and teams while still following the ways or working that make us compliant with quality and safety for our customers. Document Manager
Maintain document repository AEC-tpPLM and Teams/Sharepoint sites for Projects and Programs teams. Deliver customer submittals to customer Sharepoint and BOX sites for the teams and converse with customers to ensure all documents are received via email or their stored sites. Track project / program submittals via a Document Master List. Submit and track correspondence, customer responses, RFI’s, Notices, etc. Request access for tool use and training for new team members. Set up Teams/ Sharepoint Sites for new projects/ programs. Assist team members with issues involving access to repositories, placeholder requests for document proofreading, approval and storage. Create Document Management Plans for each project/ program. Contribute as part of the core team and attend Project / Program meetings. Create request IT service tickets for various issues not able to resolve on our own. Key User for AEC/tpPLM tool. Attend KU meetings weekly to remain current in updates and issues. Configuration &Change Management Assignments-internal training. Process Correspondent for Document Management Team Preform process reviews annually, contribute to project/ program audits. Update DM team on changes, improvements, template updates. Assist DM team when issues arise concerning process questions of their individual projects. Finding a way of working that is agreeable to all involved.
