Becoming an ad-hoc member of the Finance team, mentoring best practices, ensuring adherence to Tyson’s QA processes/procedures, reviewing and approving requirements and test cases before uploading them into HP QC/HP ALM, supporting system upgrades, governing the Finance’s testing efforts, monitoring test case execution as well as defect handling, and attending PMO meetings.
Performance highlights: The Finance work stream’s deliverables, which included 100’s of requirements and test cases, were reviewed/modified, approved, & uploaded accurately, on time. Reason for leaving: Project canceled – all contractors were laid off immediately without notice.

Senior Test Engineer, Global Client Services – Delivery - Assigned to the Wal-mart account for Point of Contact System (POCS) software development on Point of sale (POS) equipment for multiple financial service providers (fsp). This Agile/Scrum project provided Wal-mart customers the ability to conduct multiple types of financial transactions at their Wal-Mart store. Duties ranged from Agile Coach, Scrum Master, writing test cases from business requirements, executing tests for gui functionality, verifying data base updates, matching xml request/response data to requirements and to SQL queries to validate results, and managing global team members. Responsibilities also included production support, serving as a Test Manager managing a team of testers which were located globally and testers from a consulting company. Testing responsibilities included batch as well as real time – involving XML validation and data base verification.
Performance highlights: Developed an excellent reputation from our well-tested software which went into a complex production environment with minimal issues encountered during the extremely successful pilot store roll-out. Through our efforts, Acxiom was awarded Wal-Mart’s 2014 Servicer of the Year award.
Scrum Master, Agile Coach, & Test Manager in the Shared Services Division - My responsibilities included serving as Agile Coach for the Iron Butterfly Project and serving as the Scrum Master for the Scrum Transition Team & The Directories Project.
Training was another key responsibility: I coordinated industry-recognized testing certification programs and taught software testing classes in China (Shanghai, Nantong) & Poland (Gdansk, Warsaw).
