Establish Quality Requirements: Ensure the review of quality requirements included within each purchase requisition to ensure that quality requirements have been clearly and concisely identified and communicated within purchasing documentation. Review Vendor Documentation: Ensure the timely review of all vendor issued quality plans, quality procedures, reports, certification etc. Coordinate with discipline engineers where needed. Monitor Implementation of Quality Plan: Ensure that all activities identified on vendor quality plan are monitored to ensure that all activities are conducted as required and in a timely manner.

Assign Inspection Resource: Ensure that adequate inspection resources are assigned to each purchase requisition as applicable to inspection level, using combination of internal QC inspectors and/or agency inspectors. Ensure involvement of discipline engineer at key stages (e.g. FAT) but primary responsibility for inspection is with QC.
