Implemented preventive maintenance programs to extend the lifespan of equipment and prevent unexpected breakdowns.
Maintained accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs. Generate reports as necessary for compliance and reporting purposes.
collecting samples for analysis in accordance with EPA, state and/or health departments regulations
Performed a variety of chemical analysis such as pH, COD, DO, Ammonia, ATP, TSS, 30-min settling tests, Phosphorus (both in and out of a laboratory setting)
Made system adjustments based on interpretation of results from chemical analysis; making educated decisions on maintaining regulatory compliance; performing mathematical calculations utilizing basic algebraic formulas and a calculator; completing computerized reports; compiling information and correctly completing monthly reports as required by permits, state authority, EPA or corporate management. Twin Rivers Foods
Wastewater Treatment Operator

Fort Smith, Arkansas
Connected separate equalization, aeration, and clarifier tanks to circumvent pump shut-off and keep the first tank from overflowing Recognized the need for a much larger pump to add H2O2 to the effluent and helped with installation.
Repurposed the equalization tank recirculating pump to use as the transfer pump to the aerator when the transfer pump failed. Found and installed a defoamer pump at the EQ tank to help break down foam that was fouling the high-level float switch. Connected a previously unused tank to the existing sludge tank, doubling the time in service of the DAF between sludge loads and preventing a critical shutdown of the water treatment process.

Analysis, design, component selection, and
fabrication of compressed air systems,
liquid fluid circuits, and pneumatic
conveyers.
Served as a technical resource for
salesmen and fabrication experts to
present formal quotes to potential
customers complete with product
specification data, CAD drawings, cost
analysis for materials and labor, and
calculations for pressure drops and fluid
velocity.
Designed and supervised fabrication of a
nitrogen generating system using pressure
swing absorption technology. The system
supplied 37 cfm of 99% pure nitrogen gas
for batch-blanketing a methane recovery
application and supplied dry (40-degree
pressure dew point) mill-air to the facility.
The entire system was mounted on two
interlocking semi-permanent skids for
mobility and use in different future
installations
