·Staff Engineer – Manage the DevOps and Auction Support teams for Ironplanet systems.

·Responsible for Site Reliability, 24x7 Monitoring, Problem Analysis, Disaster Recovery.

·Analyze system and application metrics, logs in Datadog and identify potential performance issues or bottlenecks.

·Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for Ironplanet applications using Jenkins, Git, Groovy, and Shell scripts.

·Developed and implemented a complete set of scripts, jobs and processes for build and deployment of Ironplanet applications on Linux servers using Unix Shell (BASH) and PERL.

·Implemented services on AWS EKS and managed them with Kubectl and a wide range of python and shell scripts.

Advanced Supply Chain Planning (ASCP)

ASCP is an integral and the most crucial component of Oracle Supply Chain Management (SCM). This encompasses complex modules of planning for Supply Chain systems. It comprises of several sub-components such as Snapshot, Memory Based Planner, Loader Workers, etc. These modules are primarily written in C/C++, Java, Pro*C, PL/SQL. This system is supported on Linux, Solaris, AIX, Windows and HPUX.

Responsibilities include design, development, testing and implementation of enhancements and new features, bug fixing, performance tuning, high level support, interaction with various teams whose data feeds into ASCP. Performance was tuned using SQL Hints for the DMLs and Valgrind for memory leaks.

Enterprise Manager Grid Control

This project involves the design and development of a number of enhancements and bug fixes for the Enterprise Manager Tool in Java and Perl. It was implemented on Oracle Enterprise Linux platforms using Oracle 11g database. Worked on automation of Agent Patching and Provisioning Tools.

SQR (Peoplesoft Reporting Tool)

Involved in product development and support of a Peoplesoft Tool - SQR. This is a reporting tool and is extensively used in the Peoplesoft applications for generating reports and complex database processes. Responsibilities include gathering customer requirements for product enhancements, design, implementing new features, modifications and bug fixes. This tool is developed primarily in C and C++ on Unix and is ported to multiple platforms including Windows, Linux, and OS390. This tool supports multiple databases including Oracle, DB2, Informix, MSSQL, Sybase, etc.
