Duties and Responsibilities

Development of quality control and quality assurance plans of all Electrical & Instrumentation work as per Project specification and QCP, ITP, method statement.

Review ITP and implement the same. Develop inspection policy, area and work distribution to subordinates to get optimum output from whole team.

Review quality documentation, sub-contractor quality documentation and quality improvement techniques.

Daily QA/QC monitoring of all E & I activity to ensure quality is maintained in accordance with the Project design, specifications, International codes of practice (SAES/IEC/NEMA/NFPA/ASME/ISO)

Identification of training needs and accordingly develop of training courses.

Identification of non-conformities and close out them with suitable solution.

Achieve targets fixed by management keeping in mind all safety concerns. Pre-commissioning checks and tests in accordance with specifications.

Establishment and maintenance of inspection & test plans.

Co-ordination, performance of inspection and test activities to ensure compliance with applicable standards, specification and approved design drawing.

Manage and supervise Q.C activities in the area by complying with HSE requirements.

Review daily progress of electrical and instrumentation activities and improve Q.C.P, ITP and method statement.

Monitors implementation of vendor documentation requirements and spare parts requirements;
