Dynamic Vegetation Interaction Shader – Unreal Engine 4.27 2024 – Fully developed based on SIGGRAPH 2023 research

- Created a dynamic shader inspired by the God of War 2018 presentation on vegetation and wind.

- Used a texture with two channels (R and G) to simulate random grass movement via sine and cosine functions.

- Developed a physical interaction system: upon actor collision with vegetation, the shader displaces vertices in the direction of the vector from the actor to the plant.

- Progressive recovery of vegetation using a timeline that smooths the return to original position.
