● Drove new connections strategy for Instagram Direct using Machine Learning to determine which friend requests should be directed to a user’s Primary inbox. As a result of this effort we introduced “Message Requests” and “Hidden requests” folders in inbox which reduced inbox spam by 10%
● Product lead and co-founder for venture backed Metaverserve social platform. Built an immersive Avatar social platform on mobile devices (iOS/Android apps). Raised 500K in seed funding, shipped a 3D Avatar Agent powered by ChatGPT that users can engage with via live video and that can help them connect with other Avatars. This led to average user engagement of 10 min per day.

● Led Instagram Direct’s Inbox strategy to reduce spam by implementing a 3-folder structure that routed new friend requests based on factors like common connections using extensive Machine Learning models. Achieved a 10% spam reduction.
● Led the expressions and delight product strategy efforts to make Messenger more delightful for users and boost brand affinity. Built key 0->1 features like in chat custom wallpapers and locale specific stickers (like Diwali for India, Ramadan for Indonesia) to boost expressiveness and time spent in the app
