FTP is a multi-component integrated system that provides financial control with a single source of data for regulatory & management reporting. From an IT perspective, this project involved PeopleSoft GL implementation to replace Legacy GLS (old HBUS GL) as Books of the bank and creating a data ware house (FDS) to store the reconciled detailed transactional level data to help in reporting. FTP is helpful in simplifies reporting, strengthens, financial control, improve efficiency & will allow finance to better support the business side.
FTP will receive files from different sources and process those files and will generate financial reports and send these reports to downstream.
