Advance Auto Parts – Lewisville, TX

Responsible for overseeing total warehouse operations, which included inbound and outbound logistics, picking, packing, and shipping. Managed inventory consisting of 125,000 SKUs valued at $15 million. Conducted weekly audits and daily cycle counts to ensure accuracy. Oversaw two direct reports and 55 hourly associates across two shifts, including fleet services. Daily duties involved directly reporting to the Regional Warehouse Manager and addressing all day-to-day business needs. This includes managing workload completion, fleet management, inventory oversight, building maintenance, employee placement, and retention, among other tasks. A major accomplishment occurred in July 2022 when I accepted the position of Warehouse Manager I. Out of seven distribution centers, our Tyler DC was ranked seventh in performance, within 90 days, Tyler DC was ranked 3rd.
