Fabric Controller – the core (OS) component of the Windows Azure platform responsible for provisioning, deployments, and health monitoring of the managed hosts and services.
Designed and implemented role-based access control system for Fabric Controller services. The solution was based on WCF and Geneva framework and used two types of authentication methods – X509 certificates on Smart Cards and SSO with Microsoft Corp Net.
Designed and implemented TLS/SSL/HTTPS configuration library – a module responsible for installation of X.509 client/server certificates and configuration of secure ports (HTTP.SYS) for Fabric Controller and hosted services.

Mostly worked on message adapters - modules interfacing trading partners’ access gateways. Used Java-IDL and Corba tools for code generation from IDL interfaces.

The product integrated Computer Telephony Interface server, and Interactive Voice Response module, with the company’s Operational Support System. The application supported voice and data transfers between communicating parties, call conferencing, database lookups for customer screen population, phone line information, agent state control, etc. Was responsible for development of X11 GUI and network communication components. The application was written in C and had OSF/Motif UI. Then ported to Java.
