PROJECT WORK
Designed and developed hardware and firmware for a solar hot water heater controller, using an MC6805 microcontroller, to enable efficient heating operations, including machine learning, successfully delivering a functional and market-ready product.
Converted design of custom FPGA to a Toshiba Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC chip) for a computer printer manufacturer, including writing test vectors to test every node in the chip using ViewLogic circuit design and simulation software. The test vectors worked from 50% to 186% of nominal timing (requirement) and achieved 100% node coverage (also a requirement).
