I am currently working as a Laboratory Technician. I hold an Advanced Diploma in Civil and Structural Engineering (NQF7) (SAQA BTech Civil and Structural Engineering) and several Certificates in Road construction supervision and Material Testing from different institutions in Zimbabwe and South Africa. I have more than twenty years of working experience in the field of CIVIL ENGINEERING (Road construction, monitoring, supervision, and Civil Engineering Laboratory).
I am experienced in Civil Engineering laboratory management, Road construction from setting out to surfacing including Maintenance, construction quality assurance, overall running of laboratory, carrying out tests on soils, aggregates, concrete, bitumen, and asphalt including specialized tests like Dynamic Cone Penetrometer test, ball penetration and sand patch. I worked for different Civil Engineering Laboratories and Road construction companies in different capacities such as Laboratory Manager, Material Specialist /Technician. I also worked for the Government of Zimbabwe, Department of Roads on various projects including the Donor funded Labour Based Road Construction projects.
