KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Risk Assessment:
• Identify potential hazards and assess risk in the organization. This includes conducting regular inspections and evaluations to determine safety vulnerabilities. Conduct hazard identification and risk assessment and also carrying out pre-task risk assessment. Policy Development and Audits
• Develop, update and enforce health and safety policies and procedures in compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards Evaluate the effectiveness of JBC Integrated Management System by planning and carrying out internal audits for ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018
Training and Education
• Organize and provide training programs for employees to increase their awareness of safety protocols, emergency procedures and proper use of safety equipment. Evaluated the need for safety equipment for employees, first aid, fire protection, hygiene, and sanitation, etc.
Incident Investigation
• Investigate workplace accidents, incidents or near misses to determine the root causes and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Ensured correct reporting for accidents & other dangerous occurrences & the certification of equipment and devices. Compliance
• Ensure the workplace complies with local, state and federal safety regulations and standards. This may involve maintaining records, permits and certifications. Skilled in implementing ISO Standards, enforcing OSHA, Compiling SOP and RA, Communication, inspections and Safety Auditing.
Emergency Preparedness
• Develop and implement emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures, first aid protocols and communication plans for various emergency situations. Cordinate responses to workplace emergencies, including liaising with external emergency services when necessary.
Safety Equipment and PPE
• Oversee the selection, distribution and proper use of personal protective equipment and safety gear by employees.
Communication
