I ended up leaving the agency because of a miscommunication upon hire. I was under the impression that I would be working for their agency located in Craigsville but after hire they put me at the main hub location in Oak Hill which was about an hour and a half drive from Craigsville, where I had actually moved to specifically for the job. The drive would’ve been okay had I been making more than 13$ per hour and the only commission we got was if we bundled a policy, but only with certain carriers. It made my efforts to increase my pay a little challenging despite my performance, because in reality had to look out for the best interest of the customer and the company.

In my role as a paraprofessional with Redemption Services, I am responsible for transporting foster children to and from supervised visits, ensuring their safety and emotional well-being throughout the process. During visits, I carefully monitor interactions between the children and their biological parents to maintain a safe, supportive, and appropriate environment. A significant part of my job is generating detailed, objective reports on the visits, documenting behaviors, interactions, and any concerns I observe. These reports are critical for CPS case workers and judges in making decisions about the child’s welfare.
I also communicate regularly with CPS workers, foster families, and other stakeholders to coordinate schedules and provide updates. Additionally, I offer emotional support to children during these transitions, making sure they feel secure and understood. This role requires me to be highly observant, professional in emotionally charged situations, and skilled in time management, while always maintaining a compassionate and child-centered approach. By adhering to child welfare policies and procedures, I contribute to creating a safe and positive experience for the children I work with. The primary goal is to help put the kids back in the home with the families in a new safe environment, I always tell my parents I will always be on your side if you are making a safe side for your children. The reason I had to end my relationship with the company is because my motor and transmission went out in my car so I was without a vehicle for roughly 3 months.

I also took over the marketing duties including composing promotional campaigns and referral discounts among other things.
Positioned at the intersection of patient care and administrative expertise, my position required strong communication skills, proficiency in navigating three different systems used for telehealth operations, and a keen eye for detail to ensure optimal delivery of services, lifestyle coaching, and support for every patient.
