Summary
I have worked under Technical and Vocational training for twenty eight years. Initially worked as a lecturer, then it was followed by appointment as the Head of Home Economics Department, coordinating Departmental activities. Thereafter I was appointed as acting Principal, NYS Yatta school of Agriculture. During my tenure as a Principal I introduced module II programme, targeting members of staff career development. Following consecutive exemplary academic performance of students among other activities, it culminated in being awarded Head of State Commendation (HSC) by the Head of State. In the year 2014, I was moved to the National Youth Service (NYS) Headquarters as acting Deputy Director Social Transformation, Technical and Vocational Training. Following transfer of whoever was acting as the Director, I acted as Director Social Transformation, Technical and Vocational Training for one year.
