EXPERIENCE
WAL MART – ONLINE GROCERY PICKUP, HIGHLAND VILLAGE, TX
Jan 2020 – Aug 2021
During COVID I worked at Wal Mart in the online grocery section. I had to pick groceries at a high rate of speed (150+ items per hour) without making errors and take them to customers waiting outside at very specific times. I had to be on time then unpack the groceries and place them in the vehicle per the customers instructions. I had to be polite and courteous at all times. This taught me a lot about how to talk to people and how to make a person smile and laugh while having fun at a workplace.
MELLOW MUSHROOM – LINE COOK, DENTON, TX
August 2021 – Feb 2022
I was the head line cook at a great open view kitchen and it was awesome to hand toss dough in a busy restaurant. It was a super fun job and taught me a lot as I had a role in running the kitchen. Many nights I was tasked with closing the restaurant. I was only 17 at the time.
TORCHY’S TACOS – LINE COOK/FRONT, HIGHLAND VILLAGE, TX
Feb 2022 – Aug 2022
I learned a lot working at Torchy’s as almost half the time I was in the front. I learned how to run food and treat customers. It was a fun job and I took in so much about the front of house.
LOST PIZZA – KITCHEN LEADER, BENTON, AK
Jan 2023 – Dec 2024
I have been a kitchen leader to my kitchen staff at this independent pizza restaurant. It has taught me so much about leadership and how to deal with a stressful environment in the kitchen on busy nights and I love it!
