2013-2019 Manager of the Spanish Arch Hotel, Latin Quarter, Galway.

Working for the Receiver, the primary task was the management of the Bar and Restaurant. Duties included staffing, ordering stock, making weekly staff rosters, managing the registers, organizing music and security, and exacting the best possible revenue from the Spanish Arch. Dealt with customers courteously and professionally. Resolved all complaints. Managed all activities and events to ensure the business ran smoothly.

Quinn Insurance employed over 2500 people,

I reported to my RCC or controller after I got an instruction to visit an accident. Within twenty-four hours I would make contact with the people in the accident and on a Word, document write my findings. I would measure the road against the size of the cars and take statements from everybody involved. I would very often arrange towing and rental cars for those involved. I would then go to the Police/Gardaí to have their accident report forms notarized and if there was a Police Officer on the scene, I would get a statement from that Officer. After cross-referencing the parties involved and doing a background check when necessary I would move to settle this claim dealing with personal injury and personal damage. I would authorize payment of these amounts by acquiring doctor’s reports and when necessary supplying pictures if applicable. My main objective was to avoid unnecessary legal fees when it came to settling personal injury claims. Using Excel and Word documents I kept track of all my proceedings and sent everything up to my controller. This was generally accomplished within a week however larger claims took more time

1987-1994 Foreman Titan Roofing Jamaica Plain Mass, USA

Titan Roofing employed up to 20 workers. It was owned by Author Grodd. The company roofed all state and federal buildings, including many skyscrapers. I worked on the John Hancock Building in Boston and also the Prudential Building. Boston City Hall and countless schools and libraries

I started as an apprentice and finished as a foreman from 1991 till 1994, whilst holding a second job bartending.

1986-2002 I lived in America where I started as a laborer in roofing and worked my way up to owning my own
