An achievement for my department has been to be the first female EVS worker that advance the sterilization process and disinfection around UT, and single handedly transformed various rooms to be occupied by UT staff and to be recognized by hard work and effort to bring the most clean and satisfying disinfections around the rooms, to which Brough upon attention to be hired in other departments for such hard work and efforts. Optimized sterilization and disinfection resulting in 100% improvement, stating a problem in the OR would be the decontamination process which involved decontaminating the OR equipment carefully knowing what chemicals to use and how much to use knowing that using certain chemicals repeatedly can cause it to be to much, causing disruption in the cleaning process and wearing down furniture or equipment. Recognizing that work life balance and supporting my coworkers in that matter has effectively improvised my peers mood and work efforts which is the biggest achievement for me. Reducing cost reduction by only using the proper amount of supplies to not cause waist and reducing cost, improving OR technique by making sure stock levels are were they need to be, to optimize the best work environment and reduce waiting time to achieve fast paced work and patient waiting time.
