Director of Technology & Facilities - (minority owner) (8/1998 to 2/2020) Promoted to Executive leadership role accountable for day-to-day operations of the entire infrastructure for all 4 offices, purchase and maintenance of all corporate software and the maintenance of all corporate facilities. Successfully researched, designed, located, negotiated leases, purchased and physically executed numerous company- wide installations, developed pilot groups for new technology, developed and provided training on new company systems and provided building construction/remodel services on our next 2 new corporate office projects (Philadelphia (twice) and Boston) and “hands on” installation and upgrades to all new and existing network infrastructure including servers, desktops, phone systems (Cisco-VOIP), MS Exchange, Active Directory (Azure) migration and development of “production CADD” environment in the cloud. Also initiated and helped developed transformative IT policies and procedures designed to strengthen system stability, scalability, access, availability, resiliency and security. Started in ’92 with 3 CADD computers (386’s) and an old HP pen plotter on a “sneaker net.” Researched, purchased and physically installed many firsts, first WAN, first file server, first MS Exchange server, Active Directory server, first SAN, all networked HP printers & plotters, and developed first CADD standards and procedures, allowing C&P to continue to grow from 12 to 50 employees. During this time, I also acted in the HR capacity (evaluating talent, interviewing, hiring and terminating) as our growth required more employees. 1 key accomplishment was developing and managing our college internship program in partnership with Ball State University in Muncie, IN. At its height, we had approximately 20 interns or employees from BSU. As the only IT employee, I researched, designed and built first network, a unified CADD environment and CADD standards. I also researched, purchased and implemented our second CADD environment with UNIX/PC for a large MicroStation client while continuing to maintain day-to-day operations of all computers systems. In addition, I designed and helped build all office expansions projects (Eola Park Tower) and located, negotiated, help design and oversee construction of company’s next three Orlando office spaces
