ACCOUNTING

Experience – Controller, Interim Controller, Corporate Controller and Consultant positions. Supervision of corporate, multi-plant and departmental staffs, in Domestic and International capacities. Responsible for cash management including investment, credit, administration of insurance, union and pension plans. Assessor for Sarbanes-Oxley, managed information, investigation and submission to audit firm. Preparation of federal, state and local tax requirements. SEC reporting. Engagement with agencies of European, Mexico and Canadian governments with regard to Sales, Trade and Taxation issues.

TREASURY

Experience - Treasurer, Responsible for areas of Banking relationships, procurement of capital, and cash management. Establishment of credit policies in Domestic and International environments, including North America, Europe and Middle Eastern countries. Direction of investment portfolios. Administration of stock plans, pension funds and trusts. Maintain integrity of funds, securities and corporate records.

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

Supervisory positions - IT departments: computerization, major corporation, with multi-plants. Chairperson of corporate wide, two to six division, multi-national operation, management information system to install hardware and software components for control and reporting functions of $150-$300 Million manufacturing concern. Supervision of direct reports in the function of IT managers and staffs supports. Direction of Financial reporting for all areas of P/L responsibility. Deployment and maintenance of large scale projects in areas of production, human resources and sales areas. Direct responsibility for data communications via modem, E-mail and satellite between headquarters, multi-plant and multi-continent, primarily financial reporting. Extensive background in PC’s, including Excel, Lotus, Microsoft, IBM H/W, MAPICS S/W, JD Edwards, MAS90, Timberline, SAP, Hyperion, Oracle, PeopleSoft, spreadsheets and database environments. Installation of EDI communications packages and certification of ISO/TS supplier status.

BUDGETS

Developed annual forecasts, three month rolling forecasts, three year plans and five year plans. Instituted EDI reporting, cost controlling, project targets and operational reviews. Manage capital spending, developmental costs and gross margin analysis. Developed and installed a computer program to recompose complete budget on a monthly basis.
