Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Golf Resort, March 2014-. Currently a CookII, for Waters Edge restaurant. This is a high past job to where you have to read tickets, cook the exact number of item's ordered by each customer. Working on several ticket's and different station's simultaneously at times. Responsibilities for the stations setup before and after service. Wash, cut and prepare my prep for each meal.
Walmart, June2013-March 2014. Started overnight stocking, all departments if needed. Loading and unloading shipments, organizing the backroom spaces, constructing displays, and stocking shelves. Storing perishable food, rotating stock, loading and binning stock. Maintaining order and cleanliness in the work areas.
Sodexo, January 2008 - March 2013. As a Chief Cook/Senior Cook, I was required to direct the preparation and serving of meals. This task required an organizing effort to meet service time frames through management of personnel and materials. Ensured the proper serviceability, storage, and cleanliness of galley and equipment while assisting in meal planning and inventory management.
River City management, March 2005- January 2008. CookII, Prepared and cooked several types of food in quantity. Followed recipes and prepared special diets as directed. Operated a variety of kitchen equipment such as blenders, mixers, grinders, and slicers. Properly stored and used leftover foods according to prescribed procedures. Maintained a clean work area, dishes and equipment. Additional duties required the serving of meals, keeping records of diet, preparing and producing bread and bakery products.
Air Serv United Airlines, September 2006-January 2008. As a Customer Service Agent, I issued airline tickets, assisted passengers with booking/rebooking of reservations, and worked on the ramp. Loaded baggage onto aircraft, while assisting in the preparation of claims for lost or damaged baggage. During this employment, I received the qualification to operate three different computer systems; Worldspand, Apollo, and Fast air.
Omega World Travel, September 2005- Feburary 2006. Experienced with Saber System. Assisted in booking reservation of airlines, vichicles, hotels, and Amtrak for military and medical personnel. During this period, I completed a series of online courses and received my Travel Agent certification.
US Airways Express, September 2002- Septemeber 2005. Customer service agent. Making reservations for flights. Provided boarding announcements and checked customers in at the gate. Assisted clients in the tagging of baggage and preparation of claims for lost or damage bags. Working in operations, receiving calls from inbound aircraft to ensure equipment was ready to off load passengers and baggage. Ensured cleanliness of the aircraft interior.
