A Security Guard, or Security Officer, is responsible for protecting a person, organization, or asset in the case of an incident. Their duties include monitoring a specific area, evicting trespassers, and writing reports detailing any occurrences during their shift.
Security Guard duties and responsibilities
The overall duty of a Security Guard is to protect a company’s property, employees, and visitors.
Daily responsibilities include:
Patrolling and monitoring activities on the company’s premises regularly to discourage criminals and ensure the environment is safe and secure
Evicting trespassers and violators and detaining perpetrators while following legal protocols before relevant authorities arrive to take over.
Controlling the entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and vehicles according to protocols.
Monitoring surveillance cameras to watch out for any disruptions or unlawful activities.
Providing detailed reports on daily activities and any incidents that may have occurred to management.
Testing security systems and, if needed, operating X-ray machines and metal detectors.
Using provided communication devices such as two-way radios in a clear and concise manner.
Performing CPR or first aid when needed.

Position Summary:
As a Bar waiter / waitress I had to ensure that all guests are served to the company standard in the Bar or Lounge areas. Ensure that the highest standards of hospitality and welcome are demonstrated at all times within all food and beverage areas.
To serve and explain drinks, cocktails and coffees to guests including ingredients and discussing any allergy information. Take and deliver accurate drink orders to guest as per standards.
Bar Waiter / Waitress Duties and Responsibilities:

Taking beverage orders and serving them to guests on a timely manner.
Check guests for proper identification and serve alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with federal, state, local and company laws and regulations.

Mix and garnish beverages according to recipe and portion control standards.
Should be fully aware of the bar and lounge menu along with their prices and any applicable taxes.
Good knowledge of wine selection, wine service and Beer service.
Take guest beverage or food orders and input them to the point-of-sale system.
Ensuring that the bar and lounge stations are fully stocked, clean and tidy at all times.
Establish rapport with guests to build loyal and satisfied customers.

Return all equipment to proper locations, locking refrigerators, restocking items, turning off lights, locking doors and completing bar closing checklist.
Stock and maintain the bar with all the required supplies and inventory (eg: beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws, stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice cubes etc.)
