● Fall 2023/Spring 2024 Law Clerk (litigation discovery-oriented role): Curran Antonelli, LLP. Under direction of Peter Antonelli, Esq. and Thomas Curran, Esq., conducted legal research resulting in formal memoranda, prospective case analyses (Boston-based IIED & workplace sexual harassment plaintiffs) drafted discovery responses and propounded discovery requests, performed varied clerical tasks involving e-filing.
● Spring 2023 TELYON Solar Energy Compliance & Regulatory Legal Intern: Significant experience conducting wide-ranging state and local research regarding solar photovoltaic installation, operation and management requirements; engaged in contractual analysis regarding solar PPAs, sPPAs and landlord/tenant agreements. Developed niche industry and administrative knowledge of investment strategy through weekly strategy sessions with entire team present.

● 2022 Summer Associate: Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith LLP: Summer Associate in the firm’s Medical Malpractice and Corporate Litigation Practice Groups based in Hartford, CT. Responsible for drafting wide-ranging research memoranda regarding commercial litigation, product liability and medical malpractice issues, deposition indices, collecting and organizing insurance data, drafting non-dispositive motions and requests for production, and collaborating with firm’s newest associates on legal briefs.
●Spring 2022 Clinical Associate: University of Connecticut School of Law Asylum & Human Rights (Field Placement Grade Received: A) Successfully obtained asylum for Afghan national who fled persecution by the Taliban in the wake of Afghanistan’s political collapse, precipitated by the withdrawal of US forces in August 2021. Worked diligently with Clinical Professor Jon Bauer as well as my clinical student-associate to attempt to obtain asylum for client, and derivative asylum on behalf of client’s immediate family. Asylum granted by USCIS late 2023. Clinic involved extensive experience utilizing NetDocs software.
● Fall 2021 Law Clerk: Waterson Employment Law, LLC. Legal intern operating out of boutique transactional firm’s Stamford location. Responsible for memoranda regarding real estate transactions, drafting subpoenas for following institutions: Bank of America, Fidelity, City Bank. Drafted motion to compel for document production by Boston-based financial institution. Performed other duties and clerical tasks as assigned.
● Spring 2020 Legal Intern: State’s Attorney Richard Colangelo at Stamford/Norwalk District Attorney’s Office. Shadowed and performed legal research utilizing WestLaw, shadowed multiple attorneys, transcribed, organized and (rarely) drafted correspondences within DA Archives, organized and reviewed court docket, performed clerical duties as assigned. Shadowed primarily, and assisted where possible, attorneys in prosecution of low-level civil cases, primarily in traffic court.
● Co-authored ophthalmology research paper with Dr. Matthew Paul, M.D. of Connecticut Eye Consultants, P.C. Paper was published in Ophthalmology Times medical journal. I was responsible for data collection, statistical analyses of post-operative surgical outcomes and providing research basis for formal paper.

Later rehired by Danbury Eye Physicians in both research and clerical capacities for ten weeks during the summers of 2018 and 2019.

● Brandeis University Executive Senator: served three terms on Brandeis University Student Union. Presented annual budget reports to the Board of Trustees, secured funding for green-energy initiatives on campus, pressed for increased scholarship funding for lower-income students from disadvantaged socioeconomic backgrounds.
