This involves daily review of internal rejects and corrective action follow-up with the Production & Process Engineering Departments. Also key team member of customer reject corrective action. Most corrective actions involve a Gemba approach where the team goes to the production area to review how the rejects were produced and escaped. Often times existing poke-yokes have to be tested to assure their effectiveness. Either repairs/revisions are required or entirely new error-proofing is required. Some travel to the customer sight is required.
