Creating, modifying and deleting a MRTG (Multi Router Traffic Grapher) page of a network site.
We use PERL script to execute to create MRTG page for different Locations.
In MRTG section, we draw & edit graphs showing how much traffic has passed through each interface, and creating, modifying and deleting a WUG page of a network site, we use SNMP community to create routers.
Logging into the WhatsUp Gold server would be able to modify a defected router or a firewall or any internet devices.
We handle Severity 2 and severity 3 tickets regarding Network alerts (router down & firewall alerts), were we do manual check using WhatsUp Gold and send mail to Local IT and follow up with them until the router is back up to normal state.
Monitoring Consoles for failures and errors, ticketing and informing to support groups.
