From a young age, I have been fascinated by how things work and have always enjoyed taking things apart and putting them back together. This curiosity led me to pursue a H.N.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Takoradi Technical University, where I gained a strong foundation in engineering principles and developed a keen eye for detail.
What excites me most about the Mechanical Engineer position at Baker Hughes is Baker Hughes prioritizes a maintenance approach focused on reliability, availability, extended equipment life, high safety and environmental performance, and increased productivity through proactive strategies like predictive maintenance, leveraging data analytics to identify potential issues before they occur, and tailoring maintenance plans to specific customer needs and asset criticality; all while upholding their core values of integrity, teamwork, performance, and learning.
In my previous role at Metka Power Project, I successfully designed and Modify a new P&ID for the plant, resulting in a 20% increase in energy efficiency. This project not only showcased my technical skills but also highlighted my ability to work effectively in a team and manage complex projects from conception to completion.
Furthermore, my proficiency in I.T standard tools(Office suite), coupled with my strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, has allowed me to consistently deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
