WHNT News 19

Producer

2016 - 2018

This was the station I really learned about community engagement and what news can do to impact people’s lives. Working in a mid-to-low market like this lets you be more involved with the people you’re serving. Which in turn makes you a lot more accountable and requires everyone to make sure we get it right the first time. WVUA 23

Producer

2014 - 2016

Started as a student editor, before spending time as both a reporter and producer. Learning what goes into all the various aspects and roles to put a newscast on the air continues to serve me well, and improve my ability to communicate with the various departments. I eventually become one of the only two students they hire on as a paid position, to produce the 10pm newscast three nights a week, in between classes.
