• Project planning, design, implementation and risk management solutions Managed Multimillion Dollar Automation Projects: For over thirteen years, I successfully worked on and managed multimillion dollar projects consisting of industrial plants and equipment, industrial automation, etc., in process industries. For example, I was a chief engineer in the $1.2 billion multi-plant Delta Steel Company Limited built and operated by Austrian and German companies. I initiated the formation of the automation department which I managed for five years before leaving for further studies in the UK. Flair for work on software, hardware and multidisciplinary systems: In working on projects and challenges in operations, I consider the technological and business aspects and their implications in our planned solution. I conduct research, as necessary, on every aspect to provide a cost-effective and competitive product or service. Even in my doctoral research, I worked on computer vision, transducer interfacing, data acquisition, software design, etc., to produce a 3-D hardwired video position transducer in robotics. This required hardware and software research and implementation.

Project management experience: From 2002 to 2020, I did project management consulting and business development in West Africa and UK as a director of an Oracle Gold-level partner. This included end-to-end procurement and implementation of enterprise project management solutions especially Primavera project management solutions such as the P6 series of software products. Strategy Management, Marketing and Sales: From 2004 to 2015, I carried out strategy formulation and management in my business development assignment. My strategic positioning was to compete on superior skills, state-of-the-art knowledge, and innovative service offerings. It was so successful that by the end of 2020, we had trained over six hundred customers on various project management courses. The training complemented the sale of our enterprise project management solutions. Communication Skills: I made presentations to C-level executives, spoke in conferences and authored papers, some of these published by PM World Journal. My book, “Achieving Successful and Sustainable Project Delivery in Africa” was published in June 2020 by Routledge Taylor and Francis Group, New York.

• Singlehandedly, I modified the control system of cooling water pumps in a steam turbine power station to restart the station after it was grounded by a major fire during a weekend.
