I am a leader with over 26 years of experience in all aspects of supply chain management. EXPERIENCE

Master Scheduler

Thermo King Greenville Greenville, SC October 2022 - Current

Schedule production for entire plant (2 production lines, welding dept, E-Coat line)

Daily coordination with the sales team and customer service teams to accurately place orders for customers, providing them with efficient timing and costs.

Manage the shipping department: 2 forklift drivers, 2 shipping clerks.

Work with trucking companies to get the best rates and delivery options for loads going across the US and Canada.

Weekly coordination with the engineering team and EC coordinator to minimize obsolescence and negate any impact to the flow of production.

Facilitate daily and weekly meetings with plant managers and staff to assess current and future production output and performance.

Daily update and presentation of MDI boards. Reviewing all KPI’s and current or upcoming items on the JDI Rail.

Facilitate weekly SIOP meeting with other TK plants, TK sales team, Supply Chain Director. Discussing current and future volumes/staffing/strategies to ensure all aspects of our brand’s performance meets our customers’ needs.

Work with Inventory Control and cycle counters to help investigate discrepancies.

The plant manager and I do daily process confirmation audits throughout the plant. Validating that standard work and processes are being followed.

Work closely with material planners to ensure all materials are in inventory and stock levels are not at risk.

Create forecast models using business analytics and intel from the sales team. Maintaining long term and short term models with multiple scenarios to best fit the ever changing economic climate.

Work with plant finance team and controller to project monthly revenue and profit/loss for our facility.

Team with plant production manager to analyze staffing needs based on shifts in volume/production.

Make accommodation to meet the needs of customer service and other TK plants have. Whether through sending replacement parts to customers, or helping other TK plants fill gaps in their supply chain.

Material Planning Manager

Plastic Omnium – Auto Exteriors, Greer, SC March 2020 –October 2022

Managed 6 planners, 1 transportation specialist, Inventory Analyst and their day to day activity.

Responsible for inventory control and accuracy. Managed cycle counts, material flow and lineside distribution.

Creative and proactive in the midst of the pandemic in terms of transportation methods (increasing/decreasing frequency of deliveries, tracking sea freight, organizing air freight, working with trucking companies to optimize deliveries in the midst of a driver shortage)

Facilitated engineering changes between production and our suppliers. Making sure that we minimized our obsolescence while ensuring our customer’s production was covered.

Lean/Six Sigma project leader – reduced headcount by 6, reduced inventory by 18%, also reduced foot/forklift traffic.

Planned and coordinated mold changes, color changes for 21 different machines in the injection molding department.

Responsible for inventory levels for finished parts as well as WIP.

Coordinated bank builds for BMW, Cadillac, and GM with other departments to ensure meeting demands of our customer while keeping our cost as low as possible.

Helped facilitate a project to develop a new scheduling program with an engineering student from Clemson University.
