Work Experience

From 2004 to 2009 I am working in Bishoftu Secondary school on teaching Chemistry

From 2009 to 2016 I am working in Bishoftu Special needs School on School principal and working with different NGO

For example :-

I have been working on the position of project coordinator from the project entitled children with special need mobilization and Gender equality with NGO Jecdo

I have been working on the position training facilitator from the project entitled accessibly of Education for children with disability and Gender Equality with Handicap National

From 2016 to 2020 working in Adea Model Secondary school Principal and working with NGO like Link Ethiopia

For example

I have been working on the position Training coordinator from the project entitled Gender equality and woman empowerment with Link Ethiopia and I have got a chance to provide training on Gender Equality in UK(Impigton Village college ) .

I have trained on database (ODK Application) and effectively handled organizational database implementation system as required. Generally, being deployed on these different positions, I have internalized and experienced the concepts of Child welfare, child protection needs and other cross cutting issues, early childhood development program and basic education related activities. Moreover, I have a great deal of experience working in collaboration with both governmental and community stakeholders and developed the skills that helped me in coordination of project activities. Lastly, during my stay in these projects I am well equipped with the knowledge, experiences and skills in the areas of children related works and managerial aspects which in turn capacitated me to bear any duties and responsibilities. Here below are some of my roles and responsibilities.

Roles and responsibilities relevant to my working experiences( In Summarized Form)

Ensuring that planning and implementation of the project and program activities are in accordance with the program principles, approaches, and procedures of the organization;

Working closely with government stakeholders in planning, implementing and monitoring and evaluation of the project and program activities.

Ensure project and program implementations in line with government and donor agreement.

Ensuring that the project’s capacity building activities are implemented in line with the felt need and demand of the users and address the set objectives;

Supporting/assisting the government stakeholders and communities understand importance of Community Based child protection Mechanisms;

Ensuring that gender issues are properly addressed during the process of the project planning and implementation;

Integrating the project and program activities with mainstreaming issues such as HIV AIDS, Child Protection, Gender, Disability, Environmental protections and etc

Provide different project related trainings to relevant stakeholders and governmental officials

Regularly supervise project activities in particular and organizational activities in general.

Establish and strengthen communication mechanisms with government stakeholders.

Participating and having a lead role in preparation of Annual Operational Plan(AOP), project M&E tools and preparation of different emerging projects.

Closely working with finance team and ensuring project budget is properly and timely tracked.
