To whom it may concern,
I am quite pleased to write a recommendation for Lisa Irwin. Mrs. Irwin’s employment with our family was one of tutor in a home-school setting. She has truly been a gift in so many ways. Lisa's competence and skills with children were evident as she brought peace, insight, consistency, into the teaching process. It is a hard thing to entrust your children into the hands of someone else, and Mrs. Lisa was a gift on levels I cannot express. Her flexibility, serenity, and willingness to take personal interest in the gifts and challenges of each of my children was a blessing. My children looked forward to their daily lessons as Mrs. Irwin created an environment of joy while maintaining discipline all while setting an academic standard of excellence.
Again Mrs. Irwin was a gift to our family in so many ways as she brought that element of calmness and patience which allowed for a good working environment, consistency, and steadfastness which blessed the lives of my children. I fully trusted her with not only my children’s academic success, but also with their emotional and spiritual well-being. She had a way of encouraging each child’s personal interest as she understood their unique personalities. Most importantly, my children felt loved. I cannot thank her enough for her time and investment in their lives. She helped to build a firm foundation for the intricacies and inevitable challenges of real life. I am especially grateful for how I could trust her to represent truth and give good council for life as a whole, and not just for academic success. Mrs. Irwin’s investment in my children’s lives has left a mark on them. Her broad influence has been a building block for life, and not only in the area of academics. Mrs. Lisa’s employment was from 8/16 to 8/2020. Sincerely,
To whom it may concern,
My name is Shantel Leininger and I am the founder of Summit Christian Academy, which is now Crestmont Christian Preparatory School. I am also the head cross country/track coach, and a high school teacher. At the end of this last year, I stepped down as head of school to focus more on my teaching and coaching.
I had the privilege of working with Lisa Irwin both as a parent and professionally at the school. Lisa is an amazing teacher with a love for children and God. She pours her heart into everything she touches. She can also adapt to different grades. She taught first grade and fifth grade while working for us. She was not only a teacher in the classroom but she also came and tutored my children at our house. We were getting ready to leave for Africa and I knew I needed help to get things done and so I personally hired her. My children thrived under her tutoring. She made work fun so my children many times didn’t realize they were doing schoolwork. They loved her games and her gentle personality. She always spoke kindly to them and truly loved them. My girls are now in college and a junior in high school and they still talk about Mrs. Irwin and how much they still love her. She will always have a special place in their hearts.
She has moved too far away to continue working for us even though we still reach out to her because she is exactly what we are looking for in an educator. She not only works well with the children, she also has an amazing repertoire with the parents. She communicates well with parents and also creates a friendship with them.
Lisa Irwin is everything you would be looking for I an educator. I highly recommend her! If you have any questions, please email me at **********@*************.***. Thank you! Blessings,
Shantel Leininger

To Whom it May Concern:
I could not be happier to write this recommendation letter for my close friend, Lisa Irwin. I have known Lisa for over twenty years and can confidently say that she is a person of impeccable character and integrity.
Since we first met, Lisa’s incredible friendliness and interpersonal skills have always impressed me. I remember one instance when we were in church and she had brought a visitor with her. The man was handicapped. I tell you that part because some people may feel uncomfortable with other’s physical disability, but Lisa does not. I was behind her and I saw her reach over during the worship part of the service, put her arm around the young man and look into his eyes and smile at him. This was before we became such close friends, and that action was one of the reasons I wanted to be her friend. More importantly, everyone who interacts with Lisa is always blown away by her selfless, kind, and warm-hearted nature. Whenever there is any need Lisa is the first to be there, eager to help in any way she can. We now live several hundred miles apart and when I had surgery she drove here and stayed with me for several days to nurse me back to health. Lisa is the one other people call on for her kindness, generosity, and problem-solving abilities.
I would be remiss if I did not mention Lisa’s teaching and reaching children. Lisa successfully homeschooled all 5 of her children. She was involved in tutoring and teaching other children. She has since held many positions teaching children. The truth is, I have never seen Lisa more alive than when she is working and interacting with children.
It is truly a privilege and an honor to be considered Lisa’s friend and I wholeheartedly recommend her for any position she may apply for. I assure you that her commitment to her professional career, as well as her high moral values are without question. I have no doubt she will make a strong addition to your team. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
Kelly Glos Ed. D.
