Mobil Power Unit (MPU) Project

Project Objective: Installation of a new mobile Power Generating Unit to boost the power supply in Qua Iboe Terminal. The project was conceived to forestall the power challenge that was experienced at QIT due to the below optimum operation of GT1 given its age (46 years since installation) and the complete out-of-operation status of GT3.

Key Accomplishment

• Provision of Security Support for INGOs with program implementation within the Southwest Region of Nigeria leading to the recording of Zero Security Incidents during the period of my stewardship.

• Successfully coordinated and managed a team of 31 Security operatives, and 2 Security Inspectors for 32 active work sites coverage and liaised with security service providers comprising of armed government security forces and escort drivers to provide journey coverage for all approved company personnel movements for 3 projects running concurrently. Successfully stewarded the security and access control of an average daily POB of 1,100 at the peak of project activities with over 450 light & heavy construction equipment operating simultaneously throughout the construction phase of the projects.
