I have assisted the site safety personnel as necessary to rotate scheduled time off to allow needed time off for other site safety personnel.

Built Solar farm 12,000 ft above sea level in the mountains above Parachute, Co. SSHO / LOGISTICS ---September 28, 2022 to November 15, 2022

USACE/ FEMA, HURRICANE IRA, SOUTHWEST, FLORIDA

Direct all repair, safety and logistics operations from the mobilization site of all equipment and personnel in Selma, Al. Then caravan to a second site - Florida State Fire Collage, in Ocala, FL to restore operations while being updated on the storms progression as it moved across to Ft. Myers, FL. When it was safe to move forward, we set up a large temporary site where we would receive FEMA generators ranging from 25kw up to 1MW. The USCAE would match up gen size to need of power then I would assign and dispatch a crew of mechanics, electricians, Fuel trucks, and send out to needed locations to restore power. I also set up a Food and Water Distribution Center for the Army National guard to hand out provisions. I conducted morning safety meetings with the site staff before we started unloading generators from trailers. My primary mission was to deliver to anywhere FEMA and the USACE directed 24 hours a day.

Site safety officer for the Pascagoula Staging Site, on the continuing cleanup of oil from BP MC252 Oil Spill Disaster. Responsible for over 350 technicians and response workers at several different outer barrier islands. Hold daily safety meetings, Toolbox, JHSA, coordinate and oversee personnel boarding of 60 vessels working on the islands. Escort work crews to island destinations for cleanup, Work close with Paramedics, and US Forrest Service. Oversee vessel safety, transportation of workers around Island, Incident, Accident, and Near Misses reports and daily shut down of work schedule, and safe transportation back to staging area. SITE SAFETY LEAD OFFICER – April 2010 to JANUARY 2012 BP DEEPWATER HORIZON DISASTER, GULF OF MEXICO.

Performed duties as the Lead Safety Officer for the, Port of West St. Mary’s, Cameron, Venice, Port

Fourchon, BP oil spill cleanup sites. This consisted of establishing a construction safety program for the construction of the site and an operational safety program for the site after the construction phase was completed. My duties were to assist in the daily safety management of the site, which included confined space entry, fall protection, daily toolbox safety meetings, boat operations safety, incident investigation and etc. The site consisted of 275 people and included boat and land operations as well as decontamination operations. During this project as the lead safety person, I managed eight safety persons including managing personnel scheduling, performance evaluation and site management interface. The project was completed without any OSHA recordable injuries or OSHA/EPA citations.

Oversight of all safety and environmentally impactful activities at the local harbor and shipyard, supervise crews checking for contaminants, wastewater disposal, debris, routine daily harbor checks on 24-foot boat, oversight of docking and departure of all pleasure craft and commercial vessels.
