EXPERIENCE

Mansfield ISD, Mansfield, TX - Substitute Teacher November 2023-June 2024

●I was a full-time substitute, Teacher. I taught all levels from K to high school. I used my communication and adaptive skills to facilitate student learning over a wide range of subjects. I adhered to the curriculum and lesson plans assigned by the regular teacher while following procedures to achieve lesson goals and compiled detailed reports for teachers when he/she returned.

●I worked in a variety of schools and classes. I performed these duties with consistency and at times in challenging situations. I worked with the school Administration to ensure that we always complied with all school regulations and policies. Every situation required a pleasant attitude and the ability to adapt quickly.

Tu Simple, Dallas, TX - Autonomous trucking Company-Customer Success Coordinator February 2021- February 2023

I communicate with and assist customers to assure that their operations of revenue trucks ran smoothly and without incident. I coordinated with a wide range of individuals to complete loads being delivered at six different locations valued at several hundred thousand dollars each.

I use automated systems to maintain constant contact and “at a glance” updates with both shippers and receivers.

I maintain detailed records to assure proper billing and payment information, which required working knowledge of accounting and financial management net 30 to provide excellent customer satification.

APL Logistics, Grand Prairie, TX - Logistics Coordinator November 2017– July 2019

●I managed the daily warehouse shipping and receiving operations for a critical infrastructure facility providing food and grocery items for local and national retailers. Also monitored inventory levels to ensure accurate stock levels

●I used my experience and communication skills to carefully plan and implement the arrival of more than twenty-five major shipments of bulk items. I coordinated the movement storage and outgoing distribution of these items to every major retailer in the DFW area. I completed this distribution daily with minimal or no loss.

●I trained and supervised three other coordinators as my direct reports built relationships with partners and clients closely with other managers to ensure effective and safe operations at the warehouse and loading dock. There were no accidents or other loss time incidents during my tenure.

●I ran a highly organized day-to-day warehouse operation, fleet management and supervision of fifty drivers to include equipment, maintenance coordination, driver DOT compliance, vehicle maintenance reporting, accident/incident reporting, document shredding and disposal process.

●I increased driver DOT compliance from 30 % to 98%.

CEVA Ground Logistics, Dallas, TX - Dock Supervisor November 2010 – January 2012

●I managed complex and challenging cross dock operations. Utilizing warehouse management systems. This required the rapid and safe unloading and reloading of dozens of trailers in daily shift.

●I supervised and managed 5-10 dock associates per shift to assure their personal safety as well as the safe handling of goods and merchandise worth hundreds of thousands of dollars.

●I coordinate the timely transfer of loads from bulk operations to line haul operations to insure network efficiency. I was able to improve operations and complete this work in a safe and effective manner.

JB Hunt, Dallas, TX – Logistics Account Manager March 2009 – February 2010

●I was the team lead for the daily planning and safe dispatch of 30 over the road drivers.

●I managed driver movement and assigned areas, DOT compliance along with compliance with company policy and procedures. I completed this work without incident or losses. Working with independent minded truck drivers requires careful communication, and negotiation skills. I used my experience and training to successfully work with these diverse individuals and to gain their respect and compliance.

●This position was a transition from Sara Lee Bakery when Sara Lee decided to end their direct employment of a truck and delivery fleet.

Sara Lee Bakery Group, Carrollton, TX - Fleet Manager June 2005 – March 2009

I ran the day-to-day management, operation and supervision of the fleet and drivers to include equipment maintenance coordination, driver DOT compliance, scheduling, dispatch, logs, hiring, training and fleet P&L. I collaborated with manufacturing and warehouse materials managers to ensure timely pickup and delivery of outbound finished goods and inbound raw materials. I mentored 33 over the road and local drivers to achieve 98% on-time delivery, 98% driver utilization and 97% driver retention.

I achieved an accident cost rate of less than 0.01 per million miles through strict enforcement of safety rules and DOT regulatory requirements. I coordinated day-to-day strategy with other managers to ensure adequate resources are available to handle fluctuating workloads.

US Army/Army Reserve

I served in several positions leading to two significant command positions. I was the Movement Control Officer for the 3rd Infantry Division. Commanded a Transportation Company in US European Command, with a budget of over

5 million dollars and a Recruitment Command in El Paso, TX.
