Hired into a newly created position to support manufacturing and CAPEX Management. Key Accomplishments:
● Purchase, install, and utilization of Studio 5000/FactoryTalk for use with all Allen Bradley PLC’s/HMI’s within the plant.
● Cataloging of all Allen Bradley PLC/HMI programs throughout the plant for archive purposes in the event of a system failure requiring a reload or replacement of a PLC or HMI.
● Revision and corrections within a large Allen Bradley system yielding a 13% increase in through-put. Total system architecture included 3 HMI’s, 7 Point-I/O racks networked to a Guardlogix 5380 controller.
● Conceptualize/design/specify/manage project at the Mobile site to expand process air capacity for the plant. GULF PACKAGING Bay Minette, Al., 6/2020 to 2/2021
This position was eliminated due to restructuring of the Management team. MAINTENANCE MANAGER
Assumed the role of Maintenance Manager replacing the previous manager of 20 years as he retired. Managed all aspects of the maintenance department for this corrugated box manufacturer in Bay Minette. Key Accomplishments:
● Corrected a design issue within a control program for one of the automated box delivery lines.
● Hired to fill out staff of shop team.

This position was temporary only. I accepted it and worked it for six weeks before accepting the Gulf Packaging position.
I&E CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISOR
I took this position as a temp position through the initial national shutdown due to COVID. I worked on staff with WOOD at a construction site in Chickasaw, Alabama. This site was an expansion of the Kemira Chemicals plant. My function was to serve as an intermediary of the WOOD Corporate Office to the contract electrical providers working on the site. I communicated daily with representatives and associates of three different contractors to ensure that all work conformed with local, state, and federal codes and that the work was also progressing according the specifications outlined by the WOOD Corporate engineering team. Develop information screens for remote access to review plant performance on key systems online while working onsite with customer. Collected information via DCS Database to be used and displayed on graphical representation screens for key systems and pieces of equipment across the site. Perform online system’s monitoring within AspenTech’s software package.
Key Accomplishments:
● Expanded the content of the displayed information and improved the quality for each area to include 3D exploded views of more complex systems and assets.
● Improved the operability of all menu screens within the assigned units. SISTER SCHUBERT’S DINNER ROLLS Saraland, Al., 4/2014 to 8/2019 This position was eliminated due to a Corporate decision to close the plant. FACILITIES ENGINEER
Developed a maintenance department and managed spare parts inventory to support commercial bakery. Developed and implemented all PM schedules in the plant. Administered all CAPEX projects at this location. Provided AutoCAD support for all layouts for the facility. Supervised all aspects of the Maintenance Department including hiring, discipline, terminations, reviews, and scheduling. Developed five new control systems from inception to completion based around the Automation Direct P2K Hardware family that resulted in improved reliability and performance of all five machines and processes. Key Accomplishments:
● Developed new controls for 5 existing pieces of equipment utilizing the Automation Direct Productivity 2000 hardware line. This resulted in a $767k savings for initial design/install.
● Developed lighting model for entire plant and implemented plan to replace all fixtures throughout the plant over a 3-year period resulting in 24% load reduction on lighting grid.
● Aided the production team to increase throughput on the signature product of the facility from 1300 cases per day to 4500 cases per day.

Revised total facility layouts at four manufacturing locations that resulted in improved utilization of space and material flow. ● Supervised acquisition of new facility totaling 76k sq./ft. in 2002 that was used to house three processes that had outgrown existing floor space.
● Developed all costs and timeline planning while using AutoCAD 2000 and Microsoft Project to develop the total project plan worth over $3M while managing the project to completion within time and budgetary constraints.
● Developed a full blending system and reduced cost from $150K to $52K through In-House Design/Install utilizing a touch-screen panel mount computer.
● Designed six complete systems In-House using only shop associates and saved $588k on all projects. The Maintenance team was also better prepared for addressing and troubleshooting any issues that came up due to the knowledge gained while building out the systems. Additional Experience:
