I chose to return to LHR base as crew as I enjoyed working with the fleets above and wanted to explore other opportunities as I had taken the redundancy period in the year of 2020 due to the pandemic.

Senior Cabin Crew Manager & Crew Training Executive at British Airways City Flyer (BA CityFlyer)

Conducting preflight briefings, ensuring all safety and security elements are met for each flight. Ensuring good Crew resource management with cabin crew and flight crew. Managing crew behaviour and completing performance assessments and delivering feedback effectively and accordingly.

As a crew trainer I delivered recurrent training and new entrant training for new crew, this covered Safety operating procedures, equipment on board, aviation medicine training and service delivery.

This role also included in developing other SCCMs and completing inflight assessments on them and again delivering feedback to help them further develop within their role.

August 2021 – March 2022

City of London Police – Command & Control Officer

Duties:

Working as a civilian staff in the control room, receiving calls from the public, dispatching officers to emergency and non-emergency crimes, and updating cases on the CAD system.

Confident in dealing with many tasks under pressure and being able to adapt to different styles of working.

October 2020 – July 2021

London Ambulance Service – Call Handler 111 & Coach

Duties:

Taking emergency and non- emergency calls for the NHS, dispatching ambulances if required and ensuring patients receive the appropriate healthcare need/service.

Also I had the opportunity to coach new recruits and guide them how to work the systems.

Experience in long haul flying with different challenges from a short haul carrier also with greater knowledge on other aircraft types and safety procedures.

I’ve had the experience of running the service and galley in different cabins, finding ways to adapt and develop further, as well as finding ways to ensure a smooth service is carried out. In a customer service facing role I am approachable and confident in dealing with people and different situations. With experience of working in first and business class I aim to provide a seamless service in a professional manner always.
