The Med D claims being adjusted are required to be adjusted as CMS compliance within 45 days. These generally involve adjustment because of members moving from one group to another. This process is one of the critical applications for CVS. Adjustments are true financial transactions used to correct claims payment errors. It is important to research a claim thoroughly before making an adjustment as an incorrect adjustment may have a serious impact on future claims.
