PROJECTS

Object Recognition Fan — De Anza & Infineon Semiconductors July. 2024 – Present

Team Member

As a team of 5,

o Conceptualized and led the development of an AI-powered object recognition smart fan with atmospheric tracking, and later gesture control capabilities

o Led image recognition and data collection/classification

o Developed a functional prototype in 3 weeks during summer, kitted with AI, detailed weather dashboard, and 3D printed chassis

o Secured an opportunity to collaborate with Infineon, and resumed the project on January 2025 using their PSoC™ 6 Artificial Intelligence Evaluation Kit (CY8CKIT-062S2-AI), further expanding our project to include radar-based gesture control

Swiftly diagnosed a problem with the current image recognition model, adapted and swapped models to meet the 3-week summer deadline

Delivered crucial feedback to Infineon’s documentation, specifically on MacOS compatibility

N-Body Gravity Simulation using Python October 2024 – December 2024

Solo Project to learn Python

Developed n-body gravity simulation, demonstrating chaos in n-body systems

Delivered a 15-minute presentation on multi-star systems, and the role of gravitational instability on habitability

Building & Selling Desktop Computers February 2020 – June 2024

Solo Project, Commission Based Santa Clara, CA

Procured components and assembled seven custom desktop computers, whose prices ranged from $300 to $3000

Problem: A Desktop computer suffered high base-line thermals, leading to excessive noise and loss of efficiency

Action: Undervolted both CPU and GPU, while keeping clock speeds the same. Changed fan configuration and gave RAM a custom overclocking profile. Cleaned chassis and replaced thermal paste.

Result: CPU Baseline temperature dropped by 20 C. Cinebench score improved by 5%.
