• Developed Kaizen Burst technique used to correct functional-to-LOB issues

Developed new business channel partnering with NA Elsag to provide DHS CBP with “Gate Keeper” technology to be used for US Border Patrol. 1st project was to develop the technology, processes, procedures and practices to manage US / Mexican border crossings, determining which vehicles and drivers to interdict regardless of mode of entry (from twin tractor-trailer haulers to vans to motorcycles) with a variety of both US and Mexico plates. We developed software to be able to detect a suspect license plate and stop of vehicles traveling from 0 to 60 mph w/in a split second. We adapted facial recognition s/w to determine if a driver could pass/no-go crossing the border.

Budget Management and Tracking using Earned Value Management methods

• Led effort for ISO 9001 compliance. Reduced # certifying bodies to 1 and reduced audit costs by more than $134K per cycle
