At InterTwined Nexus, I lead the strategic direction for software development, focusing on modernizing engineering workflows and delivering high-impact solutions in the engineering domain.

Key Contributions

ITN Portal Development:

Spearheaded the development of a cloud-based portal enabling engineering companies to register, manage their teams, and access various engineering services. The portal supports Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and integrates with desktop applications to export data/files for seamless collaboration with other services.

Cloud Transformation Strategy:

Currently driving the incremental transition of desktop products to a native cloud platform, ensuring scalability, modularity, and alignment with modern software architectures.

Plant Lifecycle Management:

Led the development of a product-agnostic, online tag registry to manage tags across the plant lifecycle—from design to maintenance. This solution improves coordination among EPCs and Owner Operators, facilitating vendor interoperability within the same project.

Data Export Innovations:

Directed the development of a connector to export AutoPLANT data to IFC and native CAD Solid formats. This project bridges data workflows between the AutoPLANT platform and ACAD services, enabling seamless integration with IFC-compliant products.

OpenPlant Support Engineering(New product from scratch): Received the Bentley Founders Award for initiating and architecting the new software product, OpenPlant Support Engineering. This product is used for designing supports for piping and structural systems, incorporating vendor data capturing for traceability, database setup, geometry design, and integration with existing product lines, including OpenPlant Modeler, Isometric Manager, and Model Server. Supported vendors include Lisega, PTP, Anvil, and PelicanForge, with exposed APIs in Python for custom support development. Successfully assisted various clients in implementing hundreds of supports.

Leadership Programs

oCollaborated with fellow members of leadership team to execute special projects and programs, emphasizing adoption of consistent processes across diverse team of 80+ developers, testers, and consultants. Setup the AzureDevOps team and the processes in place for formal project approval and tying up the organizational OKRs with the Departmental OKRs.

Supervision and Product Maintenance: Supervised a team of 10 developers and 5 testers, fostering their growth and overseeing the maintenance of the AutoPlant product line, built on top of AutoCAD. This effort supported an annual revenue of $10M.

Client Implementation and Sales Growth: Initiated strategic visits to clients such as Buhler and Praxair, assisting them in globally implementing AutoPLANT alongside ProjectWise. These implementations successfully doubled sales by fully meeting the required workflows.

Technical Architecture and Product Consolidation: Served as Technical Architect, conducting in-depth client requirement analyses and reviews to deliver innovative, tailored solutions. Consolidated various AutoPLANT products under a unified release, ensuring tight integration with ProjectWise and support for AutoCAD 64-bit, significantly enhancing the overall product offering.
