**************@*****.***

OVERVIEW I have 15 years' experience managing dental offices. I am seeking a fresh opportunity in a new field. While all of my skills and experience transfer seamlessly to this position, what truly sets me apart from other candidates is my serious concern for my job performance. I am only satisfied if I am of notable benefit to my practice and employer. EXPERIENCE Crown &

Denture

Solutions

06/2024 - Present Office Manager

• I immediately added daily production numbers to the software display and set daily production goals for the staff. Within my first three months, I increased production by approximately $20K monthly by utilizing effect sales techniques to sell dental treatment plans.

• I negotiated with the supply vendors to get supply costs down by a full 3%, bringing us more in line with the industry standard of 9% of revenue.

• I follow up on leads, schedule the new patients, present treatment, verify insurance and handle claims, run morning huddle, monitor metrics and KPI’s daily, resolve any staff or patient issues, and onboard new employees

• I created the first policy and procedure handbook and, due to a staff shortage, I run the front desk, too.

Road to

Justice

02/2019 - 06/2024 Founder/Owner

• I founded Road to Justice as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit for crime victims. Along with my board members and co-directors, we were based in the West Baton Rouge area, and I commuted from Shreveport at least twice a month while working remotely online for the remaining time.

• At Road to Justice, we assisted crime victims by obtaining MOUs with funeral homes which granted the victim’s family a discount on items like caskets and flowers. We also obtained MOUs with other community partners like grief therapists and legal aid.

• I acted as a liaison between the family and law enforcement, and I advocated for the victim’s rights with the appropriate elected officials and in the media.

• I maintained all financial reports for the nonprofit and I handled all the financial management.

• I maintained the nonprofit’s webpage and social media presence.

• I testified in front of Senate committees for changes (the passing of SB 187 in particular) in the legal codes on behalf of the victims.

• While I do still assist victims in my spare time, I have handed control of the nonprofit over to my directors due to the need to work full time in Shreveport after a divorce.

South

Shreveport

Dental

12/2013 - 02/2019 Practice Manager

• I purchased this practice with my ex-husband, Dr. Simpson in 2013. We moved from Baton Rouge to buy and run this office. I had been in dentistry for 10 years at that point, so it was exciting to have my own practice.

• I was responsible for hiring and training staff, I did payroll and all bill pay and financial management for the practice.

• I established and maintained relationships with vendors and supply companies.

• I set production goals and trained the staff on how to meet production and keep a full schedule.

• I interviewed employees and held regular performance evaluations.

• I trained the staff in the best sales techniques in order to optimize patient case acceptance.

• I held regular staff meetings and team building events.

• It was very important to me to maintain good relationships with the patients, so I spent a lot of time with them, helping with anything they needed and ensuring they were as happy as we could make them and serving them to the absolute highest standards.
