Socially Aware Motion Planning for Service Robots
Using LiDAR and RGB-D Camera
TP-Bank STEM Scholarship - $2,000
Developed a high-speed (3.81 ms) human group interaction detection system using Principal Component Analysis and interest point estimation and have submitted as an article for Methodx. Designed and implemented a real-time (3.95 ms) human activity recognition model on an embedded system, achieving 95% accuracy with a skeleton-based CNN+LSTM architecture. Integrated human activity recognition with the Dynamic Window Approach and Human Group Social Model to develop a real-time socially aware motion planning framework. Designed and built SOLIX, a SLAM-enabled socially aware service robot platform, implementing the framework to ensure high accuracy, efficiency, and real-time performance in dynamic, socially interactive environments.
