Designed and implemented a Novell LAN replacement solution to a dumb terminal environment at five Chicago area locations. Led the migration process to convert the corporate LANs to Windows NT for same locations. Responsibilities also included oversight of IT vendor relationships, departmental budgeting, telecommunications (data plus voice), and Y2K compliance for regional offices. As the senior technical person for the regional area (400+ nodes) served as security officer and provided second level software/hardware support to all locations, either through on-line means or in person. Coordinated the overall efforts of system personnel at these facilities and ensured their access to adequate WAN, LAN and voice systems infrastructure.
