1. Implementation of the Brazilian Personal Data Protection Law (LGPD) Since I was the only employee in the company with knowledge of the law when the law was suddenly announced, I had a lot of difficulty implementing it. (In my case, I had experience implementing the European Personal Information Protection Law, GDPR. LGPD was a law implemented based on GDPR.) If the implementation is not completed before enforcement and a violation occurs, a fine of up to 2% of the company's total sales is imposed, so it is important to implement it on time. To ensure accurate and quick implementation, I formed a committee of relevant department heads as a PM, and selected a senior manager for each department to establish a personal data protection policy/process/rule in accordance with the enforcement of the law. And improvements were made to the IT system/infrastructure/service based on the vulnerability analysis. In addition, pre/post-education was provided and successfully completed within the deadline. 2. Migrating Microsoft Azure Cloud
There were objections and complaints from almost employees who were using the cloud environment for the first time, but the cloud was implemented through repeated education and Q&A by dividing all employees by department and career. In addition, feedback from customers was received and applied on a regular basis. Accordingly, change management was carried out without any problems. 3. Setting up a hybrid work environment due to COVID-19 In Brazil, where COVID-19 was severe, WebEx and MS Teams, Zoom were installed and a hybrid work environment was implemented in a short period of time through education provision. 4. Implementing RPA (Robotic Process Automation)

1. Implementation related to the implementation of the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) Due to the tight implementation schedule, there were many difficulties due to lack of knowledge of the relevant laws within the HQ and subsidiary. If this law is not implemented and is violated, a fine of up to 4% of the company's total sales will be imposed, so implementation within a time frame is important. Accordingly, I communicated with the HQ, and as a PM, I formed a committee of department heads within the subsidiary to establish personal data protection policy, processes and rules in accordance with the enforcement of the law, and made improvements based on vulnerability analysis of IT systems, infrastructure and services. In addition, I provided pre- and post-education and successfully completed it within the deadline without any problems.
2. Improve Network Stability
When I first took office at the Spain subsidiary, the entire Spanish network environment was very vulnerable, so the network was frequently disconnected and work was interrupted. If recovery was not possible for a certain period of time, all employees often had to leave work. Accordingly, a backup network was configured with up to four different paths so that work would not be interrupted unless a problem occurred for all Spanish Internet companies.
3. Migrating Oracle ERP
The existing ERP was to be replaced on a large scale with Oracle ERP. As a result, confusion among the managers in all departments was a concern, and work interruption became an issue. Accordingly, interviews were conducted with employees by department, job, and career to prevent the omission of existing functions in the new ERP. In addition, continuous and repeated training on employee changes was conducted according to this target. In addition, a comprehensive test scenario was configured before final use and tests were conducted to successfully complete the migration without any issues. 4. Implementing VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) In Spain, where phone rates are high, the communication fees were high due to the use of existing office phones and mobile phones. In addition, communication was difficult because switching between office phones and mobile phones was not possible. Accordingly, in order to innovate the work, I tried to establish a VoIP establishment plan through self-study and best practices with suppliers and proceed. However, HQ said that applying a new technology with no experience would be risky, so I should proceed after applying it with other companies. However, I persuaded the HQ and completed the implementation. Afterwards, we achieved a huge cost reduction (50%). We were able to communicate quickly and easily through speed dial numbers between office phones and mobile phones, so the management and user satisfaction was very high. 5. Implementing Jira
Due to the manual process of the existing IT help desk, there were many complaints from employees due to delays and omissions in user requests. Therefore, by implementing Jira, we were able to provide services that meet SLA without omission of requests. As a result, user satisfaction was greatly improved. 6. Implementing VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) There were various problems with using the laptop. There was a security issue in case of loss, and there was difficulty in maintenance when a problem occurred with the laptop at outside the office. Also, there was difficulty in using the internal system at outside the office for security reasons when using it on the company network. These problems were solved by establishing VDI.
