Senior Electrical Engineer with 30+ years’ experience in planning, implementing and managing multimillion-dollar energy and other Rehabilitation projects previously in Afghanistan and currently in the United States. ●Studied the relevant Electric distribution networks and proposed the right procedures for enhancing the reliability of the network.

●Followed up on the power outages and prepared reports of major outages for their effective management to enhance customer satisfaction.

●Maintained close coordination with other departments (capacity planning, Vegetation, Protection relay… etc.) to establish the exact cause of outages to inform corrective actions to enhance the network reliability.

Senior Project Manager/Project management Office/ADB February 2016 – March 2020

●Managed team of 8 project engineers and EPC Contractor Company working for Afghanistan government electrical entity on ADB-funded projects, for a 500/220Kv $50 million substation project.

●Worked in close coordination with a team of engineers/consultants and EPC contractor on preparation of design, technical specifications and bid documents for power infrastructure projects (HV and EHV transmission lines, substations and distribution networks).

●Prepared monthly, quarterly and annual project planning and scheduling reports.

●Reviewed change orders/contract variations and ensured effective contract execution.

●Performed financial analysis and monitored project performance and ensured project completion on time and within budget.
