I am loyal, motivated and a self-starter. I have set and achieved many educational as well as career goals. I have extensive experience in the business and educational fields. I work well with others, and am able to work efficiently on my own. My current goal is to provide an employer with my best and prove to be an essential part of the team.

Academic Advisor/Recruiter for Upward Bound Program
Serves as academic advisor to high school students enrolled in the Upward Bound program, with responsibility for advising them regarding academic choices and performance and for monitoring student performance and progress towards successful completion of high school program.
Maintains close liaison with students, their families and high school staff.
Participates in all program planning, identifies need for changes and recommends improvements in the program.
Provides career and college counseling to assist students in appraising their interests, aptitudes and abilities and assists them in educational and vocational planning.
Assists in planning and administering a comprehensive summer residential program designed to provide additional academic support for students enrolled in the program, with responsibility to assist in planning educational and counseling services, and other needed services.
Counsels Upward Bound students regarding realistic college choices and assists them in gaining admission and obtaining financial aid or other needed services.
Plans and organizes periodic group meetings for all program students.
Participates in selection of new students by reviewing records, interviewing students and families and recommends final selection.
Advises and monitors a tutoring program designed to supplement high school courses, with responsibility to determine student needs, schedule tutoring sessions and monitor student progress.
Supervises the daily activities of tutors; interviews applicants and recommends hiring.

Recreation Specialist
As a Recreation Specialist my primary focus is on customer service. Working at the front desk, I am the face of the Aquatics Center and I represent our policies and procedures. Some situations I have dealt with have involved disgruntled customers, dishonest employees, and contract labor employees.
As a Recreation Specialist, I account for daily transactions including cash, credit cards, checks, and online payments. I make schedules for staff members, I enroll patrons of various ages into various programs offered and provide all necessary information. I work daily with office management, assistant directors, and various city hall members. I process data and general information for reports and consistency of facility management. I answer telephone inquiries, make outbound calls, verify bookings, and confirm all communications within the facility. Nightly I make sure the facility is adequately cleaned and sanitized for the following day. I inform maintenance when supplies become low and make a schedule to order supplies. My customer service qualities have not gone unnoticed, for example I have been named by the City Manager on several occasions to my immediate supervisor for excellent customer skills and job knowledge.
Calhoun County Board of Education September 2018 to October 2021
As a Parapro, and Transition Specialist, I assist with helping High Schoolers transition into higher education or the workforce. I assess and monitor grades, complete data processing according to state requirements. I collaborate with career coaches, classroom teachers, and students to make educated decisions. I direct students to find other means to pay for their higher education by helping students.
ACTIVITY DIRECTOR/SPECIALIST

As an Activity Director/specialist I plan/prepare and develop IPP plans for seventeen residents. My job requirement is to stay abreast of state policies and procedures of residential needs. Daily planning and implementing IPP’s are used to guide instructional needs. I develop and coordinate department policies and procedures. I manage 7 residential aides, assist with transportation when needed, keep accurate and up to date documentation according to state guidelines, plan activities according to resident needs to include family and friends when appropriate, maintain a professional and excellent standings with other department heads to insure recreation activities run smoothly and without interruption. Working daily with developmental disabled adults has sharpened my skills to remain calm, pleasant, and attend to numerous crises in a professional manner. I am familiar with state and HIPPA laws. I have to counsel and discipline aides as needed, develop a plan of correction and present to administrator for approval. On several occasions I filled in for the laundry department, made a residential schedule for laundry days, made sure aides cleaned and sanitized the wellness building and anything a resident touched. On several occasions I would fill in when the facility was short staffed and made sure the resident’s room was cleaned, sanitized, and ready for possible visitors or tours.

Daily I answer multiple inbound and outbound calls concerning customer financial and insurance needs. I quote various premiums for individuals as well as large commercial lines of business. Alternative/At-Risk Teacher Jacksonville Alabama August 2011-May 2012
To provide a safe and acceptable learning environment to children Kindergarten through Sixth grade who are unable to function in a general education classroom. Daily I would make and follow lesson plans. Teach all subjects according to state mandates. Document behavior, grades, and assessments to report to administration and parents. Meet quarterly to report findings and develop a plan to benefit the child and the system.

Health and Safety Technician Train first responders and medical personnel for immediate first aid and CPR according to state guidelines and American Heart Association.
