My duties and responsibilities have included: interpreting project plans, details & specifications, monitoring electrical construction for compliance with NEC, documentation of electrical construction activities and working/coordinating with contractors and all involved stakeholders in order to resolve and/or mitigate any issues. During his 6 years in the project, Mr. Pena coordinated Electrical construction of water treatment plant for NYCDEP as per contract and submitted plans. Supervised electrical inspectors and electrical contractors Schlesinger/Siemens on daily log of activities and progress report as

per approved plans, Electrical design and field design changes, logistics trades coordination, and trades field activities coordination. Project volume estimated at $2.8B and encompassed 1,750,000 S.F.

Notable Projects and Achievements:

•CRO-312 E2, $45M, involving: High Voltage Electric Power: 13.2kV, 10,000 LF of High Voltage cable. Medium Voltage Electric Power: 5kV, Raw and Treated Water Pumps. Construction Substa- tions, Construction Electrical Systems, Temporary Power, and Lighting.

•CRO-312E1, $149M, involving: 480 Volts, over 1.4 million LF of Low Voltage conduit and 9 million LF of wire, power to all process equipment, in building radio communications, fire alarm system, security and plant monitoring, telephone and paging systems and 2000 KW diesel engine driven emergency generator system.

U. S. DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS ELECTRICAL INSPECTOR

Coordinated construction of Electrical Systems relocation and rehabilitation of VA Hospital at 423 East 23rd Street, NYC, as per VA contract and submitted plans. Supervision of Electrical contractors on daily log of activities and progress report as per approved plans. Performed, monitored, and inspected construction for compliance with contract requirements to support the construction of Hospital Renovations in Manhattan, New York. The projects included the plan, design, and construction for restoration of the facility, related renovations, some aspects of the immediate recovery operations, and facility impact costs required as a result of Super-storm Sandy. The project also upgraded five patient wards and related service spaces to conform current VA standards. It included the restoration of the Ground Level of two Support Services accessory buildings on the site.

THE PORT AUTHORITY OF NY & NJ ELECTRICAL INSPECTOR

Coordinated construction and budgeting of Electrical projects as per NY-NJ Port Authority contract and submitted plans. Electrical design for field changes as per NEC.
