Greet donors and screen them to ensure they are healthy to donate plasma by taking their vitals, a sample of blood and testing their hemostat and protein levels. If they meet the standard levels I record it in the computer and print labels and assign them a section to go to to donate. New donors, I explain the process they will go through for the day and approximately how long they will be here and continue with my screening process.
